Founded in 1874, Calvary, while steeped in history and tradition, is always looking to the future. As a people, Calvary represents a creative group, willing to try new things and worship the Word of the Lord, with all. We look to be stretched in new ways to invite others to share in our love for one another and the Word and the work.
Who We Are Leadership
Calvary offers Christian education for children of all ages - from Sunday School for ages 5 to 11, to service projects for middle school through high school ages. The official title is WOCLS (Women of Calvary Literary Society). A wide variety of books are discussed annually. Members voluntarily donate to a fund that is distributed to local charities outside of the church.
Located at 520 Main Street in downtown Riverton the Thrift Shop offers a wide array of gently (and never) used clothing along with a broad selection of small decorative and practical household items.
Calvary has a long history of providing funds and helping hands both locally in the TriBoro neighborhoods as well as nationally and internationally.
